The peninsula in the mangroves is easily accessible off the paved road. It offers you the ultimate privacy, calm and pure nature, with a view to the highest mountain in Panama, the volcano Barú, the Chorcha waterfall and the island Boca Brava. 5 minutes by boat to Boca Chica and 40 minutes to David where you will be able to shop everything you need and where you will find various private hospitals. It has direct access to the water – just walk through the mangroves down to the boat ramp. Not only is this paradise home to two kinds of monkeys (among which the white-faced capuchin), four kinds of parrots, opossums (4-eyed, mouse, red-bushy tailed), coatimundis, raccoons, black squirrels and many, many birds, but there are fruit trees galore: 9 different kinds of mango, Spanish lime, rambutan, soursop, star apples, bananas, vanilla, oranges, lemons, coconuts, cacao, cinnamon, avocado, mangosteen, rose apples. Plus, hundreds of orchids, with several species in bloom at all times. The air-conditioned house is simple and cosy on 100 square metres plus 2 35-square-metre terraces to catch the morning and evening sun and shade. Under the house there is a 40 x 40-foot storage room. A boat shed (50 m2) with a 30 m2 covered porch offers room for a 32-foot boat and a tackle room and more space is available with a workshop & tool room 25' x 30' with covered parking 20'x22' and a bathroom with a sink and an outdoor shower. Plus a 40'x8' additional storage under roof and a carport. Water is underground on all the property; the well produces 10 gallons / minute and water is piped all over the island.
